EasyJet is the best value option with flights from most of the UK's major airports (flights can cost from as little as £40 each way out of holiday periods.
There are other flight operators including British Airways.
A lovely and scenic way to travel is the Eurostar to Paris and then the TGV to Nice Ville (approx. 9 hours). You can then take a 2 mins train from Nice Ville to Nice Riquier (the very local station to the apartment).
Please consider 'carbon-offsetting' your journey. A good website is carbonfootprint.com.
TRAM
The best way to the apartment from either airport terminals is Tram 2. This service runs direct to Port Lympia (the nearest tram stop to the apartment) and takes 30 mins. The tramstops at both airport terminals are directly outside Arrivals.
Tram/bus tickets are available from the machines at the tram stops. A single ticket is €1.70 and a Multi 10 Voyages is €17.00. Remember to validate your ticket inside the tram or bus when beginning each journey.
We will lend you a 'La Carte' with some credit on it when we give you the apartment keys.
Currently it is not possible to buy the 'La Carte' tram/bus card at the airport (you can buy them from any other tramstop). You load money for journeys onto your 'La Carte' at the tramstop machines. You validate the 'La Carte' for travel when you get onto the tram/bus by tapping it on the card reader once per passenger (e.g. you can tap a single card 4 times for 4 passengers).
Port Lympia tram stop is a 10 mins walk from the apartment. Walk N on Rue Arson and turn R in into Rue Beaumont on the corner of 'Au Pain Niçoise' bakery and 'Blush' florist. The apartment is on the corner of Rue Beaumont and Boulevard de Riquier.
TAXI
