Key fob is needed to open communal front door and to call and operate the lift
Apartment is on the right, nearest one to the stairway and elevator on the 3rd floor
Refer to information sheet behind blue curtain in hall for information about turning on the electricity, gas and water
Turn on the orange mains electric switch "coupure generale" (which can be found in the lower box behind the curtain by the front door)
Turn on the gas switch knob by 90 degrees anticlockwise (behind curtain by the front door) and turn on the yellow gas tap above the draining board (under the boiler).
Turn on the water stopcock tap by 90 degrees anticlockwise (in tiled cupboard panel next to toilet)
BEFORE RUNNING HOT WATER - light a gas ring on the hob for 20 seconds and run some hot water (to ensure there is no air in both the gas and water pipes). The boiler automatically functions when the hot water taps are run. The boiler can take a while to start working. You need to turn one of the hot taps on and off a few times before the boiler starts to properly fire up. Please don't worry and please don't press any buttons on the boiler.
Close the fridge door
Please use the shutter catches to keep the shutters from moving in the wind. Some are missing catches but can be wedged on the balcony floor if opened wide enough
Please put away any clean laundry (in built-in cupboard in sitting room) and put the clothes horses away either in the same cupboard or behind the sofabed
Please leave the cordless vacuum on charge until its lights turn from red to blue (it can then be stored in the built-in cupboard in the sitting room)
