Our first event of the year for family and students to meet the principal and connect with families and students at the school.

Our all-school move-a-thon and single annual fundraising push. This event generates the funds that determine our budget for the rest of the year. This team plans the event, recruits and coordinates volunteers, sets schedules, and helps with t-shirt and prize details.

A week full of catered and potluck meals, treats, drinks, notes, and surprises to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff (about 80-85 adults). This committee recruits and coordinates volunteers, organizes donations (both local businesses and potluck items), and helps set up and clean up each day of the week.

Encourage students to walk, roll, bike, carpool, or ride the bus safely to school. This committee helps plan the special day, organize treats and rewards, and share safety reminders and route ideas.

Student focused end‑of‑year celebration. Planning includes organizing games and stations, recruiting and scheduling volunteers, and helping make sure there are accessible activities so every student has a chance to participate.

Help capture the story of the school year and turn it into something every student can hold onto. This team chooses and organizes photos, double‑checks student names (including spelling and No-Photo lists), and highlights the big events and everyday moments that make each year at Northern Heights unique.

Help coordinate after‑school classes and clubs. This team finds and invites instructors, sets the quarterly schedule, recruites chaperone volunteers, supports student sign‑ups, and helps more students access enrichment opportunities through scholarship applications.

Have a green thumb or skills with a hammer? Our school garden is fully operated by volunteers and needs love and attention periodically throughout the year. We welcome any help that can be offered and are in need of a chair that has a vision for this space and how it can be used to enhance learning at our school.

Help coordinate volunteers to water during the summer, help build and repair garden beds, and pitch in on general maintenance so the space stays healthy, welcoming, and ready for classes and curious kids. Whether you have a green thumb or just like being outside, this is a great way to support our school in a hands‑on way.
