Members applying for their State Degree. Must complete Proficiency Application on ffa.org & attach a completed copy to the State Degree Application.

State Star Farmer (State Star in Ag Production)
This award is given to one State FFA Degree candidate who has an outstanding SAE in production agriculture.
State Star in Agricultural Placement
State Star in Agricultural Placement
This award is given to one State FFA Degree candidate who has an outstanding agricultural placement SAE. The State Star in Ag Placement is a student who is placed in a position (paid or unpaid experience) in an agricultural industry. At the state level, this may include a farm or ranch.
State Star in Agribusiness
State Star in Agribusiness
This award is given to one State FFA Degree candidate who has an outstanding SAE in agribusiness. At the national level, a Star in Agribusiness must own an agriculturally based enterprise that is not a farm or ranch. At the state level, the Star in Agribusiness may be placement or entrepreneurship.
State Star in Agriscience
State Star in Agriscience
This award is given to one State FFA Degree candidate who has an outstanding SAE in Agriscience or natural resources.
A member can receive this award only in the same year in which they receive their State FFA Degree.
