UTKALIKA | A Show of Modern Art from the permanent collection of NGMA, Mumbai was organized by National Gallery of Modern Art in collaboration with Lalit Kala Akademi (Regional Centre), Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by (Chief Guest) Smt. Pravati Parida, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, (Guest of Honour)

The UTKALIKA show at NGMA recently hosted a prestigious gathering, Kalacharcha, bringing together esteemed names in the art world. Distinguished dignitaries in attendance included: Shri Binod Kumar: Padma Shri awardee and veteran sculptor, recognized for his remarkable contributions to art. Shri Adwaita Gadanayak: Padma Shri awardee Former Director General of NGMA and renowned sculptor, whose work has received widespread acclaim. Dr. Alekha Charan Sahoo: Art historian and sculptor, whose expertise has significantly promoted Indian art. Shri Rabi Narayan Rath: Former secretary of Orissa Lalit Kala Academy, and a key figure in shaping Odisha's artistic landscape, thanks to the Khallikote College-Uni Alumni Association. Heartfelt thanks were extended to Dr. Sanjeev Kishor Goutam, Director General of National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, and Shri Ramakrishna Vedala Ji, Secretary of RCLKA, BBSR and Dr. Rebatikant Maharana Secretary KCUAA . These distinguished guests engaged in thought-provoking discussions and shared valuable insights on art, culture, and heritage during Kalacharcha. Their presence made the event a memorable and enriching experience for all attendees.
