Au-delà du jeu esthétique et de la fascination
Du rêve cinéma à la matière photographique, Le "live cinema" et les "tableaux photos" nous invitent aux voyages dans des espaces imaginaires favorables à une profonde méditation sur soi et notre monde.
L'Image Mix est le concept que je développe depuis le début des années 90 avec les Live de visuels géants mis en scène lors de festival techno.. Le processus de création en vidéo analogique du départ s'est poursuivi avec les outils actuels du cinéma digital.
Aujourd'hui, la performance de Live Cinéma est aussi devenue une source de création photographique. A la croisée du cinéma expérimental, de l'art vidéo et d' influences littéraires, poétiques ou picturales, à partir d'images filmées, j'élabore des compositions aux figurations abstraites ou contemporaines.
Au-delà du jeu esthétique, figer l’image apparait aujourd’hui comme l’ultime transgression opposée au monde qui jamais ne dort.
L’image fixe photographique déconstruit la sidération qu'exerce l'image animée.
Les thèmes abordés questionnent la place de l'humain dans son environnement naturel et urbain.
Aujourd'hui les enjeux évoqués sont ceux de l'identité et de l'intimité numériques dans les espaces virtuels.

Beyond aesthetic play and fascination
From dream cinema to photographic material, the “live cinema” and “photo paintings” make up an invitation to travel into dreamworld spaces and prompt us into a deep meditation on ourselves/on our own nature and our world.
The Mix Image is the concept I have been developing since the beginning of the 90s through the experience of mega live visuals staged during techno festivals. From the very start, the process of creating analog video was completed with the use of current digital cinema tools. Today, the Live Cinema performance has also become a source of photographic creation. At the crossroads of experimental , video art and literary, poetic or pictorial influences, I develop compositions with abstract, contemporary representations from filmed images shot in the real world.
Beyond the aesthetic game, freezing the image appears today as the ultimate transgression opposed to the world, which never sleeps.
The photographic still image deconstructs the amazement caused by the animated image.
The selected themes question the place of the human kind within its natural and urban environment. Today the issues at stake are those of digital identity and privacy in virtual spaces.
