On September 6th, the students in the third grade elected their paranymph, an important teacher to represent and join them for a whole school year in a very joyful and emotive ceremony that took place at the School Fundação Evangélica. The ceremony took place in the school court and was filled with comments of excitement, applause, and heartfelt tributes on behalf of students and teachers alike.
It is an old tradition carried out in IENH: the paranymph symbolizes the connection between the students and their tutor during such important years, when decisions are made. And this year, the chosen paranymph to represent the third graders was none other than Michel Banderó, their History and Geography teacher that has been teaching this same class since the 7th grade.
It was not hard for the 3rd graders to choose Michel as their paranymph since he has been teaching them for about 6 years, so he had always been there in their academic lives.
Visibly emotional with the honor, teacher Michel mounted the stage to accept the role, thanking everyone for the opportunity.
Later in the school year, the third graders are looking forward to having Michel as their paranymph, knowing he will continue to inspire them through the years.

On the evening of August 27th, in a scene straight out of a movie, the third-grade class 3B turned their *High School Musical* presentation into an unforgettable tribute for their beloved teacher, Rita, who was chosen as their honored teacher.
The students had a blast putting on the show during an event organized by Mrs. Rita herself. They performed scenes from "Teen Beach Movie" and "High School Musical", along with some hilarious skits from movies like "Harry Potter", "Maleficent", and more. It was a full day of fun as they performed for every class in the school.
Completely moved by the surprise, Mrs. Rita came up on stage as the 3B students handed her a bouquet of flowers. The event ended with Mrs. Rita thanking the third graders for their effort and creativity. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day and celebrate the incredible bond they share as a class.
