Kings Island is arguably the best park in America, featuring 14 roller coasters, Kings Island has rides for families and thrill-seekers alike. Every coaster eventually gives its last ride, and what is the next one to go at Kings Island?
Great Pumpkin Coaster? Nah, popular with the kids and easy to maintain.
Woodstock Express? Doubt it, its a park original and they seem to love it.
Snoopy's Soap Box Racers? Definitely not. They just added it in 2024 and it is very reliable.
Woodstock's Air Rail? Possibly, it can't run in the rain, and it sucks.
Diamondback? Definitely not. It is a fan favorite and everyone loves it
Mystic Timbers? No. Same as Diamondback.
Beast? NOOO! It's way too iconic to remove, and they have been doing constant work on it to make it run smoother.
Orion? Definitely not. It's their newest thrill coaster as of 2025 and is a fan favorite among KI fans.
Flight Of Fear? Doubt it, while it is kind of a problem child, it always draws the longest line in the park, mostly due to its terrible capacity, but people love it.
The Racer? No chance, it is a park original and a fan favorite, and KI has been doing lots of retracking on it.
Adventure Express? Doubt it, while a lot of people dislike it, It does have its fans, especially families with younger kids.
Banshee? Definitely not. It draws a long line every day and people love it.
Now we get into the 2 roller coasters at Kings Island that I think are in the most danger. The Bat and Invertigo.
Bat had an accident back in 2022 where it partially derailed due to a wheel flying off the train, it can only run one train in the rain, and while it has been getting more popular with the lower height requirement, it is still a maintenance nightmare.
Invertigo has been closed for 2 months as of early September 2025. Cables are hanging down from the 2 lift hills, and lots of work has been going on. I wouldn't be suprised if we see the end of Invertgo very soon.
