10-mile TT course details
*************IMPORTANT************
This is a rural course so please note the following:
Livestock movements
Farmers occasionally move livestock across roads in the area and should you encounter a livestock movement
THE LIVESTOCK HAS PRIORTY AND YOU MUST STOP and stay well clearProceed ONLY when the road is completely clear of livestock and farm vehicles, or when the farmer indicates.
Horses
There are horse riding centres in the area.
Please RIDE WITH GREAT CARE NEAR HORSES. Please follow this advice from British Cycling, in particular:
Make the horse rider aware of your presence
Slow down
Pass wide and very slow
Farm vehicles
You may encounter large farm vehicles/machinery
Pass vehicles only if safe to do so, do not take risks. If in any doubt, give the vehicle the right of way
Be aware that such vehicles may have particularly large blind spots such that it may be impossible for the driver to see you

COURSE INFORMATION
Start on Rush Wall, at the West end of the small layby approximately 150 yards from the junction with North Row. Proceed South West.
-CARE at sharp right-hand bend (0.8 miles).
-Proceed to turn right WITH CARE across hump-backed bridge (2.0 miles) onto Broad Street Common.
-Follow road to T-junction with Nash Road (4.1 miles). At the T-junction turn left wit EXTREME CARE onto Nash Road through Goldcliffe.
-At sharp left-band bend (6.8 miles) bear left WITH CARE. Follow Whitson Common Road/Rush Wall.
-The finish is approximately 0.5 miles past the pump house building on right, approximately 0.4 miles SW of the start.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
-You will be able to sign on up to half an hour before the start time.
-Riders are reminded that we must pay attention to other road users and are asked not to congregate in the road around the start and finish line. Riders should remain in single file when waiting to start, and when finished it is requested that riders do not congregate around the timekeeper or finish line.
-The time sheet will be made available at the pump station when all riders have finished.
PARKING: Rush Wall is a narrow lane so please park only in laybys, and do not obstruct the road. Also, please do not park in the small layby at the start as it will be used by the timekeeper. There is limited parking at the pump house near the finish, however drivers must not block the gates to the pump house. There are working farms in the area so ensure gates and field access are left free. Please be considerate to farm traffic.
