It's important that you keep going and keep in touch. Your Newman email is the main way we get in touch with you. Get used to checking it everyday. Get it on your phone (Click here for a guide for Android phones, and here for a guide for iPhones. You'll need to login to access these. ).
Seek guidance
Your tutors are here to help support you. There's also a lot of support available from Newman's support services. You'll find introductions to the range of services that are available to help support you during your degree. To get started you can see an introduction to support here: Support.
During the semester, you'll spend time in your sessions on campus and you'll need to complete reading in preparation for your sessions. You'll also need to spend extra time working on your assignments.
Don't panic. The most important thing to do is to stay in touch with your personal tutor. If your personal tutor doesn't see you or hear from you, they'll be in touch to check in with you. Make sure you respond - we understand that things can happen that makes life difficult.
There is lots of support available at Newman to help you get back on track. Email your personal tutor and we can help get things back on track.
