Update: Scudrunner is no longer in operation and being sold.

Despite the look of the logo to the left and based on my growler I believe the company is called Scudrunner Brewing NOT Scud Runner Brewing. Much like the logo a few things had to be fixed at the brewery found in Gander, Newfoundland. This was supposed to be our first stop on our late summer 2018 brewery tour. However, after having lunch at Rosie's Restaurant, a walking visit next door led to dissapointment as a sign on the door indicated the brewery was closed due to technical difficulties. We returned to Rosie's to get our car and drove back to the front of Scudrunner and noticed some signs of life inside. I spoke to an elderly gentleman sitting in a chair in front of the business. I believe his son was the business owner. He indicated that they were unable to sell beer however when I told him I was still interested in purchasing some merchandise he ushered me into the pub. The owner then sold me a couple of t-shirts and an empty growler. For my troubles he also gave me a free pub glass. I have not yet had the opportunity to try their beers but I'll be back.
