U.N. and UNA/GB Resources

Every year, The United Nations Association of Greater Boston hosts a series of conferences that are designed to build delegate skills. For more information, see the UNAGB website at www.unagb.org , or contact the UNAGB Educational Director, Caitlin Moore at 617.482.4587. The United Nations Association of the United States supports both its regional chapters and faculty Moderators by providing a number of resources you will find linked to this site, including information on position papers as well as topic papers middle and high school model UN programs can use to develop their delegates. Go to http://www.unausa.org/global-classrooms-model-un to begin exploring what UNA USA has to offer.

At the end of September, the UNAGB hosts a Global Leadership Conference that is specifically designed to help new delegates build their speaking and negotiating skills. Mentors are assigned to delegates to help assess the progress delegates make during the Conference. The evaluation sheet mentors use is helpful and showing new delegates what to be aware of as they speak.
