Sponsored walk

A Sponsored Walk took place in Danson Park, London, UK. Also, a second walk happened in Bantock Park, Wolverhampton UK. These events happened on August 29th/ 30th 2020. Sixteen people over the two events gave their time to walk in aid of New Zion's charity projects in India and Africa. More than £1,000 was raised during this event. We are grateful to everyone who chanced the rain and enjoyed the fresh air to help others in need. We are proud of each one who took part, whether they walked or/and gave to the projects of New Zion. One of New Zion's trustees, Rev. Funmie Olajoyegbe, presented medals to each candidate on behalf of New Zion, after Rev. Funmie herself also took part in the walk.

Here are some of the folks that took part at Danson Park, London. UK. The weather was cold and it had been pouring with rain previous to the walk starting.

Medals were presented to all who completed the walk around the lake, and then a picnic and great fellowship to finish the day.
