Our field workers in Bangalore, India, Beulah & Ramesh, and Gladson & Somiya have been able to receive extra money above the regular monthly donations for Christmas gifts and food for the children and families that were sent from their sponsors here in the UK.
New clothes and extra food were purchased and presented to all of the children in our care as well as the families that we support at the moment. The smiles on the faces of all who received these gifts are priceless.
Thank you to all of our sponsors who give on a regular basis, and then go the extra mile to help give these children and families a better reason to celebrate Christmas.

Pastor Richard and Violet were able to take extra bags of rice and maze to some of the poorest families in the townships and to local 'Orphaned Street Children'. Without this aid, many people and children will starve because the needs are so great and the help is limited. Every little one makes a difference, and we try to reach as many as we possibly can. We know the saying well... 'Charity starts at home', and this is so true. We don't have to look far to see many families that are struggling financially in the UK. Many people are homeless and thousands of families are living below the poverty line. This is often no fault of their own, it is what life has dealt them. New Zion was able to receive help from sponsors. Because of their generosity, we were able to put together twenty-five separate food hampers for families and the elderly. We also were able to present seven brand-new bikes for children of various ages. These children would have received very little this Christmas due to the lack of finances available. These gifts were presented at a 'Christmas gift' celebration three days before Christmas, where we were able to share about having the 'Best Gift Ever', meaning we can receive Jesus as our Savour and friend. A free yet priceless gift we can ever receive.
