Pastors Richard and Violet Mukisa, ministers in Durban and surrounding African countries around South Africa. Their hearts are to be able to reach out and to minister to the poor, uneducated, and those who are neglected.
New Zion had the privilege to meet them both in 2018 and instantly knew they were a couple who dearly loved Jesus and walked with integrity. Pastors Richard and Violet are usually found visiting the poor townships and street children who have been abandoned. Recently they opened one of our 'New Zion Healing Centres' where the sick can come for prayer and counseling. But we believe God cares for us whether we are sick, hurting, poor, or hungry. We didn't want to just pray and see God heal people and then send them away hungry. We wanted to be able to provide a little food for them and their families, even though it may be a small amount.

Both groups of children need our help to house, feed, care and educate them.

This is one of the poorest townships in Durban where Richard and Violet Regulaly visit and minister in the best way they are able to.
Approximately twenty-one bags of maze are purchased each month to be distributed to some of the families that are beyond desperate. New Zion has been able to continue to purchase food so that we can give aid to those who truly need it.
Pastors Richard and Violet and a few of their church members, pictured on the right, are prepared to go the extra mile to transport these sacks of food.
