Not all treatments have to be chemicals or therapies, these are a list of more natural or Eastern treatments.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture can relieve tension and help with pain. I went to Mimi at hope wellbeing and while it did not help me since I have AMPS, I know it helps many people, so I recommend giving it a try. It is very relaxing at the very least, which seems counterintuitive since needles are being stuck in you, but it really is especially with a podcast to listen to.
Diets
I never changed my diet but I know people who have tried the following, but please make sure you do these safely and talk to your medical team.
Keto
Gluten-free
Dairy-free ( lessening inflammation)
Intermittent fasting ( please be careful)
Raw ( like no processed foods, not no cooking)
Halo Therapy
This is something I hadn’t heard of but hope wellbeing has this as an option, its using access to a salt room or some sort of salty air environment.
Magnets
Mimi also does this at hope wellbeing but it uses different pulls of magnets to make you feel better.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness and meditation are very useful for many people to work on not focusing on the pain and separating themselves from it. There are many forms of meditation, there is the stereotypical sitting in a quiet corner eyes closed, but also journaling, listening/playing music, reading or anything else that you enjoy that you can get into 100%.
Vitamins and supplements
These are used for a variety of issues but are more natural than medications. Different people find different things that work, below is a list of all of the things I have heard.
B2
Fish oil
E
Magnesium
Tumeric
Electrolytes
D
Melatonin (for sleep, and I must say this helps me.)
