Please check out my COVID-19 concussion resources
This pandemic is scary and hard on everyone so I asked some people what their favorite concussion-friendly quarantine activities are and here is the list:
Coloring
This is a pinterest board with a variety of coloring pages with different levels of complexity
Music
My favorite Music is by Ben Sollee, he plays cello, and does a lot of really pretty instrumental music. He did the soundtrack for the documentary Maidentrip. Here is a link to the music, it is not my playlist
Yoga
While a lot of movement can be hard for people with concussions (at least for me), so I really like the Yoga with Adrian Yoga at Work series, because they are shorter and more limited in the movements.
Birdwatching
A perfect peaceful activity for springtime in quarantine! The link below is for online livestreams from explore.org
Podcasts
Everyone knows I LOVE podcasts, but they are perfect my concussion issues. I have listed my favorite happy podcasts below!
Sewing
I really like making snackbags and scrunchies with scraps of fabric (and of course masks with a Velcro coffee filter pocket)
Baking and Cooking
Baking and Cooking are a great way to be creative and productive while enjoying yourself and trying something new, I've linked one of my favorite recipes below
Card Making
Many places are taking cards for either Nursing homes or healthcare workers to make them smile. Both groups are going through a very hard time. I personally have made about 100 so far, but I am working on more!
