The EURYDICE Network provides structured descriptions of national education systems in 40 countries, including all 27 EU Member States. The EURES (European Employment Services) network complements this by offering practical guidance on where and how to find or choose a school, including information on the education system in the country concerned. EURES also operates a network of advisers who support jobseekers and employers through direct, personalised assistance topic.

The EURYDICE Network provides descriptions of national education systems in 40 countries (27 Member States, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, Switzerland, Türkiye and Ukraine).
National units are responsible for the drafting of their education system descriptions and the content of all 14 chapters according to a common structure. The national education system descriptions provide information on topics that are relevant to the European Education Area (EEA).

The EURES (European Employment Services) network provides guidance on where and how to find or choose a school. On the “Living and working conditions in Europe” page, you can select the country you are interested in. Please note that these pages are available only in English, French, German, and the national language(s) of the selected country. If needed, you can use the machine translation tool at the top of the page to translate the content into your preferred language. After selecting a country, scroll down to the section titled “Moving to another country” and choose “Finding a school.” The information provided covers the national education system, as well as educational programmes and institutions.
