We voted to move our 60-minute PD block on Monday June 28, 2027 to the date of our May Parent Teacher Conferences. The 60-minute PD block will be scheduled from 2:35to 3:35PM immediately following dismissal.
We voted to move our May Parent-Teacher Conference date from May 12 to May 27.
We voted to move the Tuesday, June 8, 2027 Clerical Day to Friday, June 11, 2027. Students will not be in attendace that day, and Tuesday June 8, 2027 will be a regular instructional day.Â
We voted to create the Comp Time Position of Special Education Compliance and IEP Coordinator (Budget permitting), The teacher who applies and is selected for the position would teach one fewer class period per day in order to perform IEP scheduling duties
We voted to create a split C6 schedule for Middle and UG where teachers are assigned two professional activities per week. One professional activity and one additional activity which may be professional or administrative. Each activity will be twice per week, and one additional period reserved for grade team meetings. Where admisitratively possible teachers will be assigned their top 2 choices.
We voted to departmentalize 5th grade Math, Humanities, and Science.
We voted to have an in person Curriculum Night and in person Best of NEST Conference in return for 10 remote OPW Tuesdays for Teachers, 16 remote SESIS sessions for Speech Teachers, and two half days for Social Workers, Counselors, and School Psychologists.
