To enroll in our pre-tax commuter benefits program log into Payroll Portal, and under Employee Self Service choose Commute Card/Edenred. The current monthly pre-tax limit is $340. If you are someone who commutes to work everyday, signing up for a pre-tax commute is a no brainer!
If you choose a commuter card you will recieve a debit card that works with OMNY, as well as other transit systems including LIRR, Metro-North, NJ Transit, Path and NY Waterway. I have used it for Amtrak tickets as well as the Ferry to cross the Long Island Sound.
Unspent money will remain on the card as long as you remain an employee. If you retire/quit you will have 90 days to spend the unspent portion.
