Recently a number of Timesheet recording and management templates were developed for groups, which utilise the simplicity and accessibility of Forms on all devices, and automated Spreadsheets.
The power of these templates is in the ability to record worked times quickly and simply, when completed, on any device, including mobile, tablet and pc, and for Timesheets to be generated with costs calculated automatically for an entered time period.
These do not require specific software or logins to be able to enter the data, and only browser to manage the sheets. The Google Drive system maintains the data, backup and security, and files are shareable if required.
These are specifically designed for, and hence only work on, Google Drive - so cannot be downloaded. They can be copied to be used by anyone using Drive.
These are available to test to see how the systems work, as described below.
To get copies of these files to use, please contact Tom Croft.
This integrated Form and Spreadsheet is the simplest option and to use. This records times worked, not including breaks, so each worked block is entered separately on the form, and just uses a browser.
This example is available to enter data if required, and test the system capability and use. There is already data entered for the time period between 1 Dec 2017 and 12 Dec 2017, or feel free to enter some more records via the form below and check the results.
To generate an automatic timesheet for a period, go to the Timesheet sheet in the file below, enter the Start date (dd/mm/yy or double click to get calendar) and End Date and see the results.
Note: Please do not delete existing Timesheet information as this is dynamically generated, including calculated totals and cost. Only change the time period dates.
This integrated Form and Spreadsheet is the next level option and to use. This records times worked, not including breaks, so each worked block is entered separately on the form, and just uses a browser.
This includes allocation of times against specific projects, where a contractor is (or will be) delivering one or more projects, eg two or more grants.

This integrated Form and Spreadsheet is the highest level option and to use, for a group with a range of contractors and projects. This records times worked, not including breaks, so each worked block is entered separately on the form, and just uses a browser.
This includes allocation of times against specific contractors and projects, where one or more contractors are (or will be) delivering one or more projects, eg two or more grants. The Timesheet allows the user to select which contractor to generate the timesheet for.
