PMR REGULATIONS
PMR (Personal Mobile Radio) uses license-free frequencies around 446 MHz in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. The maximum transmit power is 0.5 Watts. Analogously, the band runs from 446.00625 to 446.09375 MHz (the first 8 channels) and was later expanded to 16 analog channels and up to 32 digital (dPMR) channels.

Power: Maximum 0.5 Watt ERP.
Antenna: The antenna must be attached to the device (no loose or external roof antennas allowed for regular use).
Subtones (CTCSS/DCS): Many devices use subtones to filter out noise from other users on the same channel, even though you are physically sharing the same frequency.
