By now you should know how to:
Create a Nearpod lesson from scratch, an existing presentation file, or from the Nearpod library
Add media and activities to your lesson
Create interactive videos in Nearpod
Use Nearpod for assessment and to spark discussion
Launch a Nearpod lesson in live participation and student-paced mode
View student engagement data during and after your lesson
Below is the criteria I will use to evaluate your lesson. Please ensure your lesson meets this criteria:
This lesson must be created from scratch using an existing PPT or Slides file. Lessons from the Nearpod Library will not be accepted, even if changes were made to them.
Link to Student-Paced lesson is accessible (Live Participation links will not be able to be reviewed)
The Lesson Settings are configured so that Collaborate Board and Immersive Reader are ON and "Require student responses and prevent skipping" is OFF
Create - Media Element 1: Image element inserted and positioned as the first slide in the lesson to serve as a title screen
Create - Interactive Element 1 (Video): Video is no longer than 2 minutes AND includes 1 multiple choice question
Create - Media Element 2: Slide element added and positioned immediately before Web Content/Nearpod 3D/Simulation/VR Field Trip element. This slide provides directions to students on how to interact with the Interactive Media Element that follows. Includes text AND audio directions.
Create - Interactive Element 2: Choice of Web Content/Nearpod 3D/Simulation/VR Field Trip added as specified
Activity - Discussion - Choice of Collaborate Board/Poll/Open-Ended Question added as specified
Activity - Quizzes & Games Element 1 - Choice of Draw it, Fill in the Blank, or Matching Pairs added as specified i.e. Fill in the Blank (2-5 terms), Matching Pairs (3-5 pairs).
Activity - Quizzes & Games Element 2 - Choice of Quiz or Time to Climb used as the final slide in the lesson as specified. Activity includes 2-5 questions.
In order to receive course credit, you will show evidence of your learning by submitting the link to the Nearpod lesson you created during this course using the Google Form below. This form must be submitted by the posted course end date in MyLearningPlan.

This form is set to close at midnight on the course end date. If you would like course credit, you will need to submit your work before that time. Extensions will not be given nor will partial credit be awarded.
If completed satisfactorily, you will be emailed feedback and given a confirmation that you have completed the course.
If your assignment was unsatisfactory, but submitted in good faith, you will be sent actionable feedback and be given the opportunity to resubmit your project. You will have 2 days from the date and time feedback was sent to resubmit. Course attendance will be reported as "Incomplete" until revisions are submitted. No revisions will be accepted after 2 days of the posted course end date. The grade of "Incomplete" will stand and you may attempt the course again if offered in the future.
Those who do not submit the assignment by the course end date will be marked "Absent".
