Nearpod has two content types, Media and Activities. In this module, we will be looking at the the Media options. Media elements help students learn and explore the content. These elements are broked down into 2 categories, Create and Interactive. Create elements are comprised of options to incorporate static content, as a way to provide direct instruction while Interactive elements let students explore and manipulate the content. This resource will provide you an overview of each.
See a demo of how to insert a sampling of Create Media elements into your lesson. This video will demo the Images, Slides, and Audio elements. To learn more about the other elements, revisit this document.

Getting Ready ...
Login to your Nearpod account
From your lesson library, hover over the lesson you created during last module's task and click Edit
If you imported an existing Slides or Powerpoint file last module and there is content you do not want or need, click on a slide and then click Delete Slide (or right-click on a slide and select Delete). Repeat this for each slide you do not want. For example, if the presentation included an embedded video you can delete that slide as it will not play in Nearpod.
