This page is meant to support a teacher as they reflect on and assess their own teaching practices and habits as they related to gender equality and empowering all women and girls.

Here are three quick and easy steps to get you started:

#1-Give yourself and your program a "Gender Equality" audit every three to six months.

#2-Consciously communicate with your ensemble and community. Make gender equality a normal part of class discussions and literature evaluation as well as community education and performance.

#3-Share your experience and ask others to share theirs. Whether it be through conferences, staff development or through social media, get comfortable sharing your successes, frustrations, failures and hopes.
