I have contributed to strategic and urban planning projects across Vietnam, including the Mekong Delta Regional Plan and provincial strategies for Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, and Ho Chi Minh City. In these projects, I brought in my technical expertise in water resources, GIS, and satellite remote sensing, ensuring that planning decisions were grounded in environmental realities and supported by robust data.
At the master planning level, my work has focused on flood risk, hydrology, and sustainable water management for large-scale mixed-use developments such as eco-industrial parks and logistics hubs. I’ve also integrated microclimate modeling (ENVI-met), shadow and wind flow analysis, and urban heat island assessments into land-use planning. These contributions have helped shape greener, climate-adaptive, and more resilient cities, where environmental sustainability is embedded directly into the design process.
Analyzing patterns of growth, land use, and infrastructure to understand how cities expand and where future development pressures are likely to emerge—supporting smarter, more resilient urban planning.
Combining demographic, economic, and community data with environmental insights to create planning strategies that balance development needs with social equity and long-term sustainability.
