Job Description

As the Used Uniform Mender, you are a member of the Used Uniform Team, who mends the uniform pieces that are missing a button or hook, broken a zipper, lost seams, etc. Your sewing knowledge aids you in mending uniform pieces to ready for the sale. You work in unison with the Used Uniform Team Lead and the Used Uniform Prep Lead to make the Used Uniform Sale as successful as possible.

Responsibilities

• arranging with the Used Uniform Prep Lead to pick up uniform pieces requiring mending and returning mended uniform pieces to the Prep Lead prior to the sale.

• keeping track of receipts for materials for mending (thread, zippers, buttons, hooks, etc.) to be reimbursed.

Time Allotment for Role

• Total ~8-10 hours per year.

• 3-4 hours every six months to mend used uniform pieces in order to sell the mended pieces.

• Communications with Used Uniform Prep Lead - 10 mins a month.
