As a parent, how do I get involved?

As a parent, there are multiple ways to get involved in the school council:

• Check out open positions. These are positions that help the school council run smoothly and typically require more time than attending single events.

• To be a member of the school counsel, please fill out a copy of the Parent-Self Nomination Form. (More details in the link.)

• Attend a meeting. By attending a meeting,

  • you will learn all about what the NDCHS council does,

  • you can bring ideas to the council table with your unique perspective

  • you can help by voting on various initiatives that benefit the school and students.

• Volunteer to help at a council function. These can include

  • being an adult volunteer at the used uniform sale

  • being a chaperone at the school prom

  • aid with the graduation lunch for students
