Children younger than 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult in the library and while using the 3D printer.
The machine has motorized and heated parts.
Never reach your hand inside the 3D printer box while there is movement of the parts.
The metal tip of the extruder reaches extremely high temperatures (see images). NEVER touch this part. Temperature can be as high as 230°C/446°F
The build plate also heats up while printing is in process. Do not touch the build plate while a print is in progress.
The MakerLab equipment, including 3D printers, may be used only for lawful purposes.
Users may not create material that is:
Prohibited by local, state or federal law.
Unsafe, harmful, dangerous or poses an immediate threat to the wellbeing of others.
Obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the Library environment.
In violation of another’s intellectual property rights.

Clear the printer build plate of any filament or debris.
Open the BambuLab Software software.
Load a 3D print file in the software. See “Opening Your File”.
Check print time and make sure it falls within your time slot. See “Print Time”.
Adjust size or settings of your print as needed. See “Print Settings”.
You may choose to print with any of the colors loaded into the AMH Machine. See "Selecting Print Color" to switch.
Click “Start Print”. See "Starting & Stopping a Print".
The printer will automatically heat to the correct temperature and level the platform. The set up process will take about 5 minutes.
When your print has finished, remove your object from the platform. See "Finishing Your Print".
