Most street parking near the I-House is 2-hr limited or by permit only.
There are several campus-hosted and off-campus parking pay lots. Please check individual lots for times and prices. Two lots close to the venue:
Stadium Garage, 2175 Gayley Road
Underhill Lot at the corner of Channing & College, a 5-10 minute walk from I-House.
FOOD: Caffe Strada, Cafe Mezzo (sandwiches and salad) ,Yogurt Park
SIGHTS: Sather Gate, Doe Library, Sather Tower (the Camponile)
Public Transportation
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) subway trains operate from Fremont, Richmond, Pittsburg, SFO and Millbrae. Route maps and stops of all trains are
located at each station. The Berkeley BART station is just 1-1/2 blocks from the Berkeley campus. Exit BART at the "Downtown Berkeley" station. Walking from the Berkeley BART station to I-House will take 20-25 minutes and is a gradual uphill incline.
Campus Shuttle (route and stops to I-House indicated on map) is located across from BART at Center & Shattuck in front of Bank of America. The shuttle stops in front of I-House. Visit pt.berkeley.edu/around/transit/routes for all Shuttle information.
AC Transit bus service provides transportation for commuters to and from San Francisco and throughout Alameda and Western Contra Costa County.
