This workshop examines how advanced writing programs can transform “continuous collisions” among various modalities and community engagement into coherent pedagogical design. Through examples from Graduate Teaching Assistant mentoring and first-year community-engaged writing, Dr. Brennen and Dr. Dutta offer practical frameworks, reflective tools, and multimodal strategies that strengthen instructional practice and support ethically grounded, public-facing writing.
