Lunar New Year 2027
Lunar New Year 2027
A Table Across Generations
Saturday February 13, 2027
Food, Family, and the Stories We Share
Before we learn each other's stories, we often share a meal. Before we become friends, someone invites us to the table. Across cultures and across generations, food has always been one of humanity's first languages. It nourishes not only our bodies but also our memories, our relationships, and our sense of belonging.
Over the past year, the Bridging Generations Project has brought our community together through films, conversations, cultural traditions, music, and shared experiences. Each gathering has invited us to see, hear, and appreciate one another in new ways.
As we conclude this year's journey, we return to one of the oldest traditions of all: gathering around the table.
We warmly invite you, your family, and your friends to join us for our Lunar New Year Celebration—a joyful afternoon of festive food, conversation, and community.
Every family has dishes that carry memories. A favorite soup, handmade dumplings, a treasured dessert, or a Lunar New Year specialty often reminds us of parents, grandparents, celebrations, and the people who shaped our lives. Along with every recipe come stories, values, and traditions that connect one generation to the next.
This celebration is more than a holiday meal. It is an invitation to share those stories, discover new traditions, and celebrate the richness of a community where every generation has something to contribute and something to learn.
As we welcome the Lunar New Year together, let us celebrate not only the beginning of another year but also the friendships, understanding, and connections we have built throughout this Bridging Generations journey.
We hope you will join us as we gather around one table, celebrate many generations, and begin the new year with gratitude, hope, and a renewed commitment to building a stronger, more connected Taiwanese American community.
Because every meaningful conversation begins with a welcome—and every welcome begins with making room at the table.
