Violet, lilac, eggplant, mauve, fuchsia, magenta, shell pink, blush, tangerine, coral, apricot, sunset orange…
A squirrel just came to drink from a puddle. Hopped toward me, inching forward in electric pulses—I think my heart has been hopping in sync… to the rhythm of dogs barking. Bluey the cat jumps into the picture. Up the brick wall, into the leaves, along the top—blue sky between the furry adrenaline with tails. Clouds drifting, two more spectators, lazy but curious, maybe like me.'
Colours bursting in petals, clusters of pleasure piercing the skin of my eye, the curve of my perception.
Lime green splash of wings, parakeets sweep and tweet.
The wind, a constant companion: billowing the leaves; billowing the Palestinian flag over the window, billowing me
FREE AS ALL SHOULD BE.
Thy symphony of rustling, punctuated by bird, meow, buzz. Polyrhythmic pollinators doing their borderless work, keeping life going. No place for destroying, I rest with the Japanese Maple.

In nature's embrace
human motion is a gentle dance with the whispering wind. Each breath weaves into the timeless rhythm.
A quiet symphony of existence.

Lähdin metsään joraamaan
Varovaiset alkumoovit tuulen mukaan
Siirtyminen perusbiitiin laulurastaan tahtiin
Pieni breikki punarinnan kaa
Steppailu peipposen melodiaan
Sekoilu-impro kevään eka pajulintulaulun kunniaksi
Takaisin herkkään duoon; tuuli ja minä, forever
Sydämen kuuntelua
Vihreä kevättanssi
vapputanssi

Itse asiassa jokaisella asialla luonnossa on oma rytmi, oma aika.
ENGLISH
I went into the forest to groove,
Careful first moves guided by the wind.
A shift into a steady beat
in time with the song thrush’s rhythm,
a small break with the robin,
stepping to the chaffinch’s melody,
a wild improv in honour of the first willow warbler song of spring.
Back to a tender duet—
the wind and I, forever.
Listening to the heart.
A green spring dance,
a May Day dance,
a dance of life.
Hurrying from the forest to work,
like an ant.
First I had to stop, though, and greet the ants,
and check if the jay was home.

Stones and rocks have rhythm, too. They are not still. They move, change shape, dance. Only their sense of time is different from the rest of nature, that is why it seems they do not move, that they are at rest. In truth, everything in nature has its own rhythm, its own time, its own way of being, its own way of living, its own way of dancing, stones and rocks as well.
There are many kinds of stone, and the rhythms between them differ. A stone on the seabed lives in a different rhythm than a stone in a stream. Bedrock moves to a different pulse than a sand dune. Rapakivi to another, than red granite.
