Sack Lunches

During the height of the pandemic we only prepared sack lunches instead of a hot meal. We are now providing hot food, but WE STILL WELCOME sack lunches if you would like to bring those! Just come to church on the 4th Saturday while we're preparing the hot meal (10am to 12:00pm) and we would be glad to deliver them for you!

Details for sack lunch-making: Please prepare a full meal of some sort and put each meal in a paper bag. Any number you want to bring is fine. You may want to bring 8, 25, or more.    Please label the outside of the paper lunch bag with significant ingredients (peanuts, cheese, meat etc). This helps to identify allergens, and also helps them know whether the lunch needs to be refrigerated or not. Please bring them in cardboard boxes that we can stack on top of each other if possible. Bring the sack lunches in boxes to St. Mark's on the 4th Saturday between 10 and 12:30 and we will deliver them to Nativity House.

Meal suggestions:

Please be careful when you prepare:

Nativity House requires that anyone preparing food at home wear a mask and gloves when they prepare the food. Please change your gloves if they get contaminated while preparing the food. Do not prepare food if you have any symptoms of illness.

The staff at Nativity House are extremely appreciative of the meals and other things we’ve provided in the last several years. They are serving about 300 meals daily.
