Ltd., Development Economist, married Greta Mary (Rana), novelist, born 1943 in West Yorkshire, England, educated at the University of Manchester (English Language and Literature), and undertook a post graduate degree in criminology/social psychology, afterwards she worked with juvenile delinquents as a protection worker in Canada for five years, and in 1970, she became the director of Social Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital, after her marriage she moved to Nepal and in 1982 she became the features editor of a weekly newspaper called Valley News and Views, from 1994 to 1996, she became the chair of the International Women Writers’ Committee, and has issue, three sons.

      • HRH Princess Helen Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah, born 21st September 1932 in Kathmandu, she promotes women's rights and tourism in Nepal, "my hobbies are travelling and social work. Travelling helps me to have a better understanding of people and learning of their ethos." She owns hotels and travel agencies. She is president of the Red Cross in Nepal. In recognition of her social work, she has been awarded various decorations in Nepal and Japan, including the Omram Patta on 23rd October 2001. She has been honored by the Women's Entrepreneurial Association of Nepal for the promotion of tourism in Nepal. She was given the "Woman Entrepreneur of the Year" award for 2001 by the Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Sri Lan of the SAARC Women's Entrepreneur Council in Sri Lanka. SAARC is the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, established in 1985 to promote cooperation in the development of its member states: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India. She married 17th June 1945 in Narayanhity Royal Palace, Kathmandu HRH Prince Basundhara Bir Bikram Shah Dev of Nepal.

He died in November 1983 in Kathmandu, and was and cremated with full military honours at Arya Ghat, Pashupatinath.

    • Rani Teeka Rajya Laxmi Simha (eldest child), known as the first woman photographer of Nepal; married His Excellency Maj.-Gen. Bharat Keshar Simha of the Gulmi-Musikot Princely family, Honourary ADC to HM the King of Nepal, 8th Military Attaché (London) 1964/1967; 14th Nepalese Ambassador to the United Kingdom 1988/1992, Chairman of the World Hindu Federation (WHF); awarded the Om Rampatta medal (23.10.2001); and had issue, three sons. She died of cancer in 1993.
