Animal Reports - Students selected an animal, completed researching using books from the library and internet, completed report by writing their reseach in multiple paragraphs. Students then used crayons and watercolors to create a picture of their animal.
Students created a 3-D art piece by drawing a landscape and using construction paper to create a hot air balloon.
Best Part of Me - To help students foster a greater sense of self-esteem. Students selected one part of them selves they liked best and using their Chromebooks took a picture of that part. Then they typed up a short paragraph about why they liked that part of them.
Earth Day - To celebrate Earth day students painted earth using q-tips. Then the students wrote underneath how they would help the planet.
Summer Glyph - Students were asked numerous questions about summer and depending on the answer to those questions was what color their frog turned out.
Students wrote a poem about themselves and their likes. Then they tore construction paper and created a self portrait.

Ice Cream Math - Students gave each flavor a price and then added up the different ice cream options. Then in the end they added all flavors up to find out the total price of their sundae.
