Hello! My name is Natalie Bom (she/her) and I am majoring in Liberal Arts. In terms of career goals, I am leaning towards becoming an educator.
I am taking Oceanography 101 because I have always been fascinated with the ocean and I have been going to the beach my whole life. I love spending time at the beach and learning more about the ocean, so I thought I would really enjoy taking this course.

I grew up in California and always enjoyed visiting the beach, many of my childhood memories are set at Huntington Beach in particular.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and watching sitcom style tv shows.

S: I hope to have a working knowledge of each of the learning outcomes for this class.
M: I hope to be able to explain or even teach the learning outcomes.
A: I plan to use my personal planner to schedule out time to research and work on assignments for my course.
R: I plan to attend as many in person classes as I can and to submit at least 90% of all my course work.
T: I plan to accomplish this by the end of the semester.
In terms of the learning outcomes for this class, I hope to focus more on human impacts to the ocean.
