Course length
This course is offered in tandem with academic part of your Electro Technology Cadetship course. Your assigned Curriculum Head will inform you of the days assigned for the workshop. This qualification is delivered in workshops and classrooms., and in computer labs with appropriate electronics design and test softwares.
MCA requirement
MCA requires all the ETO cadets to have successfully completed this course prior to being issued with the ETO Certificate of Competency.
Assessment
Each unit is assessed by qualified assessors on continuous basis employing various awarding body approved assessment methodologies such as direct observations, verbal reasoning during the learning sessions, crafting the artefacts within tolerances etc.
You will be required to write reports on how you completed your coursework, what planning was involved and how did you ensure you maintained the required level of quality. These reports are submitted on an online portfolio software called One File which you will be shown how to use during your induction day at COGC Riverside Campus.
