About this project

The NASA-JPL - CSUN Pre-Service Teacher Institute (PSTI) is a professional development activity for higher education students studying to become STEM teachers. We provide summer institutes as well as academic workshops that focus on space science and engineering. Participants have the opportunity to learn content and pedagogy from project engineers and scientists at Jet Propulsion Laboratory as well as faculty at California State University, Northridge. The project is coordinated by Dr. Norm Herr and Dr. Susan Belgrad, from CSUN, as well as David Seidel and Dr. Ota Lutz from JPL.
