non representational art focuses mainly on elements like colors, shapes, lines, textures or a combination of elements to convey ideas, emotions or concepts. the viewer is free to observe the art without boundaries allowing a more personal interaction and interpretation. it is void of descriptive representation of reality, instead, it is more symbolic and metaphorical. It allows the viewer more time to think about what they are seeing and to make direct or indirect relationships.
