Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD)

Napa Schools for Climate Action frequently works with the Napa Valley Unified School District School Board to promote the vision of a safe climate for future generations to enjoy. Most recently, the NVUSD passed the resolution, "Authorizing The Call to Climate Restoration Action,"  on April 25, 2024 as a collaboration between NS4CA and NVUSD calling on leaders both local and global to make climate restoration a policy priority.

California Youth Climate Policy Leadership Program (CYCP)

Napa Schools for Climate Action members Liliana Karesh and Katherine Bit have both participated in the California Youth Climate Policy Leadership Program, with Liliana being a Cohort 1 Graduate, and Katherine a Cohort 2 Graduate. Liliana obtained immense resources and education on getting started with our now major initiative, the Climate Restoration Resolution! We are endlessly thankful for all of the resources that they have provided.
