welcome to the NANSA Bowls league site

The NANSA Bowls League operates in the North-East Norfolk Area. All profits generated are donated to the NANSA charity which provides support for families and individuals with disabilities and special educational needs in Norfolk.

Games are played in both an evening and an afternoon league with three-bowl triples, a new pairs competition plus a triples Knockout Cup. In addition the League organises 3 charity tournaments over the summer season which are open to all clubs in the area and not restricted to those playing in the League.

The League was formed by  just 7 clubs in 1966.  The first charity donation of £100 was made in 1967.  This was the equivalent of £2250 today.  The  League has continued to make annual donations.
