Mixed Pairs Tournament, Sheringham Morley Bowls Club, 7th June 2026.
This event was held on a lovely bright summers day following a very mixed week of heavy showers and wind. 24 blocks from Buxton, Cawston, Coltishall, Felmingham, Holt, Mundesley, Overstrand, Sheringham Morley and Suffield Park attended. It was also lovely to welcome ex Chairman Steve Howes and his wife Yvonne who continue to support the charity. A magnificent £424 was raised for NANSA. Many thanks to those who supported this event.

President's Cup Aussie Pairs Tournament, Suffield Park Bowls Club, 28th June
The weather gods were smiling again as after days of intense heat this finally relented on Sunday allowing this event to go ahead as planned. 24 pairs played 3 rounds of 6 ends. Clubs represented were Buxton, Cawston, Fakenham, Felmingham, Fineden (Northants), Hethersett, Holt, Mundesley, Overstrand, Sheringham Morley, Suffield Park and Swanton Morley, West Runton MND plus 2 teams from NANSA. Many thanks to all who participated and helped this event raise a magnificent £600

Lovely to see on the day, Jimmy and Hazel Rix who have kindly donated the bottle of Whisky for this event for more years than I can remember. Maddi Madison from NANSA with her husband Rob and Maddie's parents who bravely entered their first tournament.
Neil Barham from Fakenham won the spider, Linda Wilson and Garry Mallett won the tournament with runners up Jeanine Fenn and Helen Brodie, who only entered at last minute to make up the numbers. Both winning teams from Suffield Park Bowls Club
Open Pairs Tournament at Cawston Bowls Club on 25th July 2026
This tournament was played at the startof yet another of the heatwaves we have experienced this summer but fortunately a breeze made the afternoon more comfortable for those on the green. A big pat on the back for Cawston as the green was impeccable and the floral displays beautiful, not an easy task this summer. 22 blocks played 3 rounds of 6 ends with 3 woods. Clubs represented were Buxton, Cawston, Felmingham, Hethersett, Hindolveston,Mundesley, Overstrand, Reepham Town, Reepham Nomads, Sheringham Morley, Suffield Park and West Runton.
As usual clubs were very generous in providing raffle prizes and on this occasion Angela sold the tickets.

The Spider was won by Mark Abbs from Buxton.
Tournament runners up were Neil Ashford and Paul Brock and winners were Andy Bedford and Alan Lyon. All winning teams were from Reepham Town Bowls Club. Prizes were presented by Thelma Durrant, as the only Committee member present, and Richard Cole from Cawston Bowls Club.
