Dear Members,
Following a highly successful 2025 bowls season, in which 18 clubs participated, we are delighted to report that we raised £2,500, which was presented to NANSA during our annual luncheon. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for their generosity and support. Let’s continue this wonderful tradition in the years ahead.
As we move into the 2026 NANSA Diamond Jubilee Bowls League season, I am excited to welcome 19 teams to this year’s competition—one more than last year. The teams are split into two afternoon leagues: League 1, which will have 9 teams, and League 2, with 10 teams.
Additionally, we have six teams in the evening league.
Due to the increase in entries, the evening pairs league will again be split into two divisions: League 1, with 5 teams, and League 2, with 6 teams.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the NANSA Bowls League, and to celebrate this milestone, we will be holding an extra triples tournament at Holt BC on May 10, 2026. We've arranged it early in the season to ensure all clubs can participate. We aim to make this a truly special occasion, so we encourage as many teams as possible to take part. A Diamond Jubilee Winner’s Trophy will be presented on the day, so be sure your club enters.
I look forward to meeting you all throughout the season and wish you the best of luck in 2026.
Warm regards,
Philip Fergusson
Chairman, NANSA Bowls League
