Shalina was not a morning person. Her kind of work was best done in the evening, but after a couple of weeks on board the brig she had resigned herself to taking part in the daily morning inspections.
That didn’t mean taking part in any of the actual work afterwards though. It usually didn’t take many minutes until she could find herself unguarded and unwatched to be able to slink off to the cargo hold and to a much needed nap.
