Tower's Light is a project I worked on during my second year of my master's degree at ENJMIN. It's a blockout created in Unreal and then tested during a playtest with six people over two weeks.
> The first week was supervised by two level designers from Ubisoft, who gave us a quick introduction to Unreal. Working in groups, we had to learn how to use the software, create a GDD, and build an entire level using the assets/materials/ingredients provided as part of the course. We all participated in the level design and divided up the documentation for the deliverable.
> The second week was still done in teams and based on the level we had submitted. UX-UR students were invited to take the lead this week to create a protocol, test our level, and write deliverables in teams, depending on the hypotheses we wanted to highlight and the level created.
The GDD and final presentation are available in English below.
You can also watch a complete gameplay of the attached level.

The GDD lists the intentions, bubble maps for each gameplay beat, and a flow chart that I created.
Feel free to open the quest flow in high definition to remove the blur, here (feel free to zoom in!).
The final presentation in User Research shows the method used: playtesting with two conditions, focus groups interviews, and chronograms to test our hypotheses.
