Before the annual review, an invitation must be sent to a parent. If both parents are listed in EasyIEP, you may send the invitation to both parents, but this is not required. What IS REQUIRED is that you invite the student if they are going to be 14 during the dates of the NEW IEP.
ONLY check these boxes for an annual review where eligibility is not being discussed and services are not being changed.
*If you ARE changing services, maybe from direct CLUE English to consultation or from consultation to pull-out you would check TWO boxes. This one and the one two boxes down that is marked for "educational placement."
Sent 10+ days in advance - OR - Parent must waive 10-day notice on page 2.
The easiest thing to do is to change the dates and send the current IEP as the draft. You may update data and narratives within the workspace as long as you do NOT hit Draft. Once you create a draft, that must be sent to the parent 48 hours in advance of the annual review.
Procedural Safeguards Booklet (English)
Procedural Safeguards Form (to be used when the student is not 14)
Procedural Safeguards Form (to be used when student is or will be 14 during the dates of the IEP that is being created)

Blank Minutes - Annual Review
Minutes for Annual Review with Signatures Notes
IMPORTANT: Date sent is the same as the meeting date. The purpose of the notice and actions proposed match the invitation and minutes. Note the wording of the statements and where to mention services and adverse impact. NEVER leave number six blank or put N/A. The document will be out of compliance if any items do not have a complete sentence. This is the MOST important document in the bunch.

It's a long video, but it shows every detail of the creation process.
Watch this video to see how you can hold efficient meetings while addressing the needs of all team members. (This meeting is staged. This is not an actual IEP annual review.)
Invitation (Even if the parent responded, this is the perfect time to get signatures all in one place. Mark everything for them! Just ask for a signature. This will keep your documents in compliance.)
Procedural Safeguards Form (Only the form is needed because you've already sent the booklet via email, right?)

Prior Written Notice (No signature is required, but you can request that the parent initial the bottom so that you have proof that they received the document.)
