Compliance is what we require of all CLUE teachers who are responsible for maintaining special education records for each child, as governed by the State of TN's Department of Education (TNDOE). The state dictates timelines and protocols that support the structure of our gifted program.
Students served by the CLUE Program who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) have qualified for the state disability of Intellectually Giftedness or IG. This requires certain measures in the key areas of academic achievement, creativity, and cognition (IQ). To support this process and the supports provided for the IG students, certain formal meetings are required.
Each different type of meeting requires different paperwork, and these directions must be followed for compliance. Resources are available for each type of meeting listed here: (Click the title to go to the page with more information.)
