Conceived, designed and started the implementation of state of art city-wide Fiber Optic Network with data center connected to National Knowledge Network. 

2000-2007 Director R&D, D-Link India

Design & Development of complete suite of state of art Linux based SOHO products: Multifunction Router, IP-PBX (Nasscom Innovation product 2006), VOIP Gateways, Video Phone and IP Phones

Designed and Developed world's first & only single DSP based IP-Phone and Modem IP-Phone

1998-2000 Independent Consultant

Designed multiple target handling capability to IFF Mk X for AWACS (considered infeasible by DRDO & BEL) 

Developed signal characterization and data compression algorithms for high accuracy measurement and monitoring of electrical power systems

Developed one of the world’s earliest ARAM based Single DSP Digital Answering Machine for the world market. One of the earliest instances of earning royalties by an Indian entity.

1970-1991 Commissioned Officer, Indian Navy

Developed modular interface systems for Indian Navy to integrate NATO and WARSAW electronic and weapon systems. This was a first-ever such attempt in the world. These systems were also the first indigenously developed microprocessor-based systems inducted into the India Navy. The interface systems were critical for the success of the indigenous warship building program of the Indian Navy, based on sourcing systems across the globe.  My contribution was recognized by the award of Jain Memorial Gold Medal in 1984 and Visisht Seva Medal in 1985.
