May 19, 2026: After 4 years, 3 internships/part-time roles, 2 many deadlines to count, and 1 very stubborn, eternally caffeinated self… I finally graduated! To top it all off, I had the privilege to wear the Silver Cord symbolizing graduates with honors & high honors. It was the best reward for all my struggles, sacrifices, and successes.
May - July 2026: I was accepted for work placement internship at Hamad Medical Corporation, the primary public healthcare provider in Qatar. I trained for 9 weeks under the Nursing Recruitment team, specifically within the onboarding/joining area of work to handle overseas and local nurses, midwives, and patient care assistants.
September 2025 - April 2026: After months of thorough market research, literature review, financial feasibility, real business partnership outreach, and app development across the pilot double-semester Capstone, we successfully defended our business idea (twice!), and received widely positive feedback from instructors and peers alike. We had the opportunity to present Bud'Get to industry professionals and the campus community in the first-ever Capstone Symposium.

November 2025: In recognition of students who achieved a semester GPA of 4.0 in the previous academic term, UDST hosted its first Dean's List Celebration. It has actually been a long-time goal of mine to maintain a 4.0 semester GPA, despite the difficulty of taking advanced courses, leading the AWC, and writing research at the same time. Well, it certainly paid off— I was proud to walk the stage twice as I achieved Dean's List in both Fall and Winter.
May 2025: I co-wrote a think piece with AWC's then-Team Lead and my supervisors, detailing how GenAI impacted STEM students' writing motivation and how writing centers like ours can intervene through fostering a balanced approach of technology and the human touch. It felt surreal to finally see my name in a real journal after years of practicing academic research.

July - August 2024: I was one of 12 enthusiastic individuals selected by leading delivery platform talabat. I trained under the Corporate Partnerships team, where I contributed to real-world projects and gained valuable insights from industry professionals in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

September 2023: Even though this is a career development, I consider it a personal milestone because I got my first paycheck as compensation for my long hours of hard work late into the evening.
July 2024: Nearly a year later, I assumed my first unofficial (later, official) leadership role where I became heavily involved in the team's day-to-day coordination. Stepping into this position marked a turning point—not only in responsibility but in my confidence and ability to lead with intention.
June 3, 2022: After 2 difficult years marred by the COVID-19 pandemic, I graduated with the highest grades in my strand Humanities & Social Sciences. The principal of PISQ invited me and other valedictorians to create a motivational video for our fellow graduates. Watch it here:

January 2026: With Team Fort Santiago once again, we advanced to the Top 30 Finalists of the LifeLines 2026 Hackathon, a humanitarian innovation event with the year's theme being sustainability and healthcare in crisis-affected areas. After a 24-hour sprint, we built and pitched CrisisBuild. We didn't win this time, but pulling an all-nighter inside CMU-Q's campus with my friends to make our idea come to life was a once-in-a-lifetime experience I was grateful to have.
January 2026: Me and my team Fort Santiago has successfully won first place in the first ACM UDST Student Chapter Hackathon. In this 24-hour hackathon, we created a gamified platform that will help boost the participation and interaction within the student chapter.
Artificial Intelligence Track
March - May 2025: Working with three fellow UDST students, we completed a competitive three-month initiative hosted by Qatar University and Athar Events, focused on AI, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship. After securing a top 15 finalist position pitching Tupper Care, we were able to actually build our prototype with supplies and tools in Qatar Scientific Club.
